Duncan Hines Festival

The Duncan Hines Festival is a free community event that celebrates the life and career of Bowling Green native Duncan Hines. In its 22nd year, the Duncan Hines Festival has partnered with Chaney's Dairy Barn for a family fun event. The festival will include the Adventures in Good Baking Contest, Uncle Duncan's Duck Derby, a brownie eating contest, a silent auction and local arts & crafts vendor. This year’s festival will be held from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm and will be followed by Chaney’s Dairy Barn “Ice Cream & A Moovie”. The Festival is very well known and attendance continues to grow. In 2017, the proceeds generated totaled more than $17,000 and were distributed to nonprofits in the south central Kentucky area with a focus on those assisting women and children.

Hangover Classic 5K

The 5th annual running of the Hangover Classic 5K was New Year’s Eve, Saturday, December 31, 2016 in Bowling Green. The event included a 5K race and a performance by the DSSKY Rockerz and Jammerz. The race had over 200 runners and walkers participating and over $7,000 was raised for local nonprofits.

Coats for Kids

The annual Coats for Kids campaign helps distribute new or gently used coats to needy citizens throughout the Warren County area. Partnering with Big B Cleaners to ensure all coats are clean, club members work with area schools and non-profit organizations to ensure all needs are met. Each year, the coat drive runs October 1st - December 1st. In 2016, over 1200 coats were distributed throughout Warren County. This year will celebrate the 26th year for this campaign.
